Haven would not be the same without the Seaside Squad.
Getting there was interesting, the post code on sat nav took us to Maple Drive, as well as the car in front. Another person told me their sat nav took them straight to the park. We eventually found the park and waited for about half an hour to check in, not a great welcome when you have had a long drive and tired. However some bright spark came up with the idea of offering free tea/coffee, good move. We got to the caravan, no foot paths so in and out unloading the car meant mud on the floor. The caravan appeared clean until looking at the pans and utensils, let alone the cobwebs and used tissue my 8 year old daughter found in her bedroom.I couldn't work out how to put the central heating on so rang security as reception was shut. A very friendly guy turned up very quickly and sorted it. I didn't get his name but he has a bit of a black stubbly beard. We didn't visit the venue so no comment there. My partner and my daughters visited the swimming pool and said it was really good.We went to the fish and chip shop on our last night when it was dark and realised there was no lighting from our caravan to the car park (very dangerous). The food was surprisingly good. The day before we left the grass had been cut so not only walking in mud but cut grass (not the ground staffs fault). Just to add, I worked full time in the holiday industry for 18 years, for Warners, Haven, Park Resorts and thought standards would have improved. To summarise, a potentially great park that has great staff and the park is well looked after. All staff were polite. The best part was not once did anyone try and sell us a caravanw
