Burnham on Sea :
I took my granddaughter to Burnham on Sea last week. I have never met such a dedicated team of children's entertainers and any camp that has laid so much on for the kids. We forgot to fill in the form but Jellybean was a special favourite although they were all excellent. As an adult I only hope they can last the season as everything they did was very enthusiastic and High Energy. Thank you it has given her a holiday to remember..
Burnham on Sea :
I had a lovely time at haven everyone was lovely and we had a great time. thanks haven!
Burnham on Sea :
The staff at the swimming complex were outstanding.
Very well maintained site, neat and quiet family site right on the coast of Burnham-on-Sea. Plenty of space around the caravan with lots of hard standing parking spaces.
Medium size pool with flume, spacious changing areas all very clean. Plenty of choice for food options from their own mini market or restaurant/bar to takeaway pizza and fish n chips. The only let down was the evening entertainment, not enough kids entertainment, when they did do bits the party dances were a bit too complicated, not the usual ones and the team games a bit too short.
The adult entertainment was sadly a bit poor too the teams own shows were a bit like watching a dodgy school performance and they all seemed a bit self conscious while doing it. The visiting act a comedian from Portsmouth was the best, simply laugh out loud funny.
We are thinking of going again next year as it’s positioned ideally for cheddar gorge and Wookey hole, just not sure about the night entertainment.
Easy access to site when you turn up at alloted time, caravan was excellent and clean all the staff that we came into contact with seemed happy and cheerful
this is a lovely clean site with easy access to the Town, due to covid restrictions
cannot comment on the facilities as we booked the just stay package I think,
perhaps, if families are going here it would be best to book the facilities in advance
as I can see that this will be a popular destination, tried the fish and chip shop and
they served nice food so can recommend this, also noticed the pool and two life guards in attendance. We took a bus to Weston Super Mare walked into town for
this as at the moment they are not coming onto the site to pick up, would also say
that the bus stops at the railway station at the moment due to heavy road works in
the town. In all a very enjoyable holiday and will visit again.
We came here after a weekend at Butlins in Minehead as it's only a short drive away. We had a 6pm check in so spent the day in Burnham on Sea which was quiet certainly no problem with social distancing. There is a Wetherspoon which we used a few times as it was a short walk. On arriving the check in was a simply matter of them checking our Reg No and that we know where we were going, the caravan had key and information on the table in the lounge) Onsite we used the pool a couple of times and noted that it was extremely clean, well maintained and the staff friendly. We rented a go cart and did the crazy golf and the staff members were very friendly. The boys also did Junior Segway with Joel which they enjoyed. The entertainment we went to (Seaside Squad) was aimed at the younger children and our 3 year old loved it. The shop has everything you might need and is reasonably priced. We didn't use the onsite restaurant as you had to book a table. We did have takeaway fish and chips from the onsite which we ordered online and collected.
